Cyber Security Engineer (Vulnerability Management)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid working model

What you will do

• Plan and execute internal penetration tests across infrastructure, web applications, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Lead enterprise vulnerability assessments, analyze risks, and provide actionable remediation guidance.
• Architect, operate, and enhance the vulnerability management platform and scanning infrastructure.
• Design automation for vulnerability detection, assessment, prioritization, and remediation workflows.
• Develop security scripts, tooling, and platform integrations using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Evaluate AI-driven security tools and collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on secure design and remediation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security automation.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing tools.
• Understanding of enterprise IT and cloud technologies, plus scripting or automation experience such as Python.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required; willingness to participate in the cybersecurity on-call schedule.
