TL;DR

Junior/Mid-level Software Tester (Manual QA/Automation): Testing web-based applications and internal systems with an accent on functional coverage, defect management, and Agile delivery. Location: Leeds City Centre, with 2 days per week onsite and 3 days remote; candidates must be UK-based with full right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Execute manual testing across web applications and internal systems.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, scenarios, and documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support release testing, Agile ceremonies, and continuous QA process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of commercial experience in software testing, QA, or a similar role.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and scenarios.
• Experience logging and managing defects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and genuine interest in developing automation testing skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to test automation, Selenium, Playwright, or C# testing frameworks.
• Mobile application, API, and web application testing experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD environments.
