TL;DR
QA Engineer (AI): Ensuring the stability and reliability of critical-care software used in ICUs, operating rooms, and other life-saving environments with an accent on manual testing, exploratory testing, and automated test coverage. Focus on building AI-assisted testing workflows, validating APIs and databases, investigating complex defects, and mentoring QA engineers.

Location: Fully remote for candidates from Uzbekistan only

Salary: From $1,500 per month, negotiable and adjusted according to exchange-rate changes.

Develops critical-care software that supports clinical teams in intensive care units, operating rooms, and other medical environments worldwide.

What you will do

  • Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for critical-care products.
  • Perform manual and exploratory testing, identify defects, and investigate root causes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Support teams to reproduce and resolve software issues.
  • Track defects through discovery, resolution, and verification.
  • Build and maintain automated tests using modern testing frameworks to expand coverage and accelerate releases.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, manual testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, including Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Experience using AI tools or building AI-assisted testing workflows to improve quality, speed, and coverage.
  • Knowledge of SQL, API testing with Postman or SoapUI, and scripting or programming with Python, JavaScript, or Java.

Nice to have

  • Experience with WCF, web services, distributed systems, multithreading, or the Task Parallel Library.
  • Familiarity with C# and .NET environments.
  • Experience with performance testing, profiling, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Background in medical IT systems, including HL7, DICOM, or medical device integrations.
  • Understanding of application security best practices and experience leading QA efforts or mentoring testers.
