Senior Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

Location: Primary location: Minsk, Belarus. Remote work is available, or hybrid work can be performed in Minsk.

What you will do

• Rewrite Android base code into a Kotlin Multiplatform solution for a next-generation POS system.
• Develop and maintain a high-quality native Android POS application.
• Design and implement intuitive, responsive user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and external services.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Debug defects and technical issues while delivering maintainable, scalable code in collaboration with design, product, and development teams.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of commercial experience as an Android Engineer.
• Excellent Kotlin knowledge and hands-on Kotlin Multiplatform experience.
• Deep knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Material 2/3, Atomic Design, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Understanding of MVVM and MVI patterns, RESTful APIs, dependency injection, and databases such as Room.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and software development skills.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Retrofit or Ktor.
• Experience with Dagger/Hilt or Koin.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
