Technical UI/UX Designer (Game UI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland — remote or hybrid

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality UI content and assets aligned with the project’s artistic direction and quality standards.
• Translate UX flows, wireframes, and interaction concepts into functional in-game UI.
• Create UI mockups in Figma or Adobe Photoshop and implement them in UE4 UMG using Blueprints, animations, and UI Materials.
• Own small UI features or co-own larger features from UX design through implementation.
• Collaborate with UX designers, UI artists, programmers, and other disciplines.
• Iterate on UI using playtest results, user research, feedback, accessibility practices, and reliable delivery estimates.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of UI/UX design experience.
• Knowledge of game design fundamentals and current game UX design trends.
• Understanding of UX interaction and design principles, including prototyping, user scenarios, wireframes, flows, experience maps, design patterns, and annotated comps.
• Some knowledge of motion design, UI design, and sound design.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to meet production deadlines.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of UE4 and experience optimizing or debugging UMG interfaces.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and accessibility.
• Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI components.
