Senior Programme Manager - Technology and Innovation (AI)

Location: Billund, Denmark, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. The role works primarily online with colleagues in London, Singapore, and Boston and may require periodic travel.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of single- and multi-year technology enablement programmes across product innovation and internal workflows.
• Convert strategic objectives into roadmaps, milestones, resource plans, governance routines, and risk registers.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and tools through change management, communications, training, and capability building.
• Coordinate product, engineering, mission capabilities, operations, and business stakeholders while managing dependencies and decisions.
• Manage external vendors, technology partners, and consultancies with accountability for delivery quality and costs.
• Define programme success metrics, report on adoption and operational efficiency, and mentor junior project team members.

Requirements

• Significant programme or project management experience delivering complex, multi-year technology, digital transformation, or innovation programmes.
• Ability to translate technical concepts and strategic objectives into structured delivery plans and business value.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or emerging technologies and their practical business applications.
• Proven change management, adoption, upskilling, communications, and capability-building experience.
• Strong vendor and partner management skills, including budget and cost control.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery frameworks; PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent certification is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in an R&D, innovation lab, creative agency, or consumer product development environment.
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling such as Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Adobe Firefly, or Vertex AI.
• Experience with physical products, toys, gaming, entertainment, safety, quality, or brand standards.
• Strong strategic awareness and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
