Mid-Level C#/.NET Software Developer – Backend & Frontend Integration

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications with C# and .NET.
• Collaborate on Angular frontend integration and connect user-facing interfaces with server-side logic.
• Design, implement, and consume REST APIs for system interoperability.
• Manage SQL Server data, optimize database performance, and maintain data integrity.
• Build automated tests with NUnit and xUnit, participate in code reviews, and apply SOLID and KISS principles.
• Support monitoring, security, documentation, task scheduling, and CI/CD delivery across Elastic, Kibana, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, XLDeploy, XLRelease, Checkmarx, Sonar, Control-M, Jira, and Confluence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional C#/.NET software development experience.
• Strong backend programming experience with C# and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience designing and working with REST API services.
• Understanding of SOLID and KISS design principles and agile Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent English at a minimum B2 level is required.
• An existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Angular frontend development experience.
• Knowledge of WCF, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, XLDeploy, and XLRelease.
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Kibana, Checkmarx, CI/CD automation, and deployment processes.
