Student Marketing Assistant

Location: Hybrid working on campus and remotely in the UK. Applicants must demonstrate the right to work in the UK. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Prepare short copy and light image edits for email and digital channels.
• Support the building, proofreading, scheduling, and approval of email campaigns.
• Contribute ideas for email content, social campaigns, and other prospective-student communications.
• Support the planning and organisation of university marketing projects and activities.

Requirements

• Experience working collaboratively while following clear steps and processes.
• Ability to stay organised and flexible when priorities change.
• Ability to draft and proofread concise, engaging digital copy with accurate spelling, grammar, and tone.
• Ability to check text, images, and layouts against brand guidelines.
• Confidence using everyday digital tools such as Microsoft Office or Teams and willingness to learn marketing systems and creative software.
• Right to work in the UK is required; Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting email campaigns through platforms such as Spotler or Mailchimp.
• Experience creating or editing simple graphics, photos, or short videos with Canva.
• Experience contributing content for social media or websites under brand guidelines.
