What you will do

• Maintain, enhance, and optimize legacy banking systems using COBOL and related technologies.
• Analyze business needs, create detailed technical designs, develop solutions, and perform testing.
• Use JCL, CICS, Endevor, and DB2 for system integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and maintain operational stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align delivery with project goals.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of COBOL development experience in banking or financial services.
• Professional experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, Endevor, and DB2.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
• Fluent English and French at C1 level or higher are required.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Lisbon, with up to 3 remote days per week.

Nice to have

• Pacbase experience or relevant certification.
