PHP Developer (Mid-Senior)

Location: hirify.global Headquarters in Riga, Latvia; hybrid work is available.

Salary: €2,400–€5,000 gross per month

Developing and maintaining hirify.global, a widely used software platform for infrastructure and application monitoring, within an international business environment.

What you will do

• Write high-quality, maintainable PHP code according to company guidelines.
• Participate in design discussions, requirements analysis, solution design, and user-story estimation.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and technical recommendations.
• Design and implement tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Support the full software development and maintenance lifecycle.
• Contribute to code architecture and mentor junior developers at the senior level.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience for the mid-level track or 5+ years for the senior-level track.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Understanding of database types and their functionality.
• Experience with IT architecture solutions and preparation of technical specifications.
• Ability to collaborate with architects and developers and understand requirements, high-level designs, frameworks, and common services.
• Very good technical English is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PHPUnit, Selenium, and Linux.
• Experience with Yii, Bootstrap CSS, and third-party integrations.
