Senior IT Transformation Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in Aveiro, Portugal, with office-based work in Ovar and regular travel to Munich, Straubing, and business-unit locations.

What you will do

• Lead IT separation and divestiture governance, ensuring delivery across scope, timeline, and budget.
• Define and enforce phase gates covering operational and security readiness.
• Manage IT Separation Plans, including workstreams, milestones, dependencies, risks, and Day-1 readiness.
• Oversee IT capacity and resource planning alongside business-as-usual activities.
• Maintain the Transformation Office playbook and incorporate lessons learned.
• Coordinate program reporting and stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in IT Program Management, IT Transformation, or M&A integration and separation.
• Experience managing at least one corporate carve-out, divestiture, or post-merger integration.
• Ability to steer external consulting and program management resources.
• Familiarity with IT security governance frameworks including ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Confidence engaging with a CISO and presenting exit status to CFOs, directors, and private equity investors.
• Fluent English and willingness to work from the Ovar office with regular business travel are required.
