What you will do
- Own backend features throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through deployment and production support.
- Design and implement scalable Java/Kotlin services and take features from idea to production.
- Participate in technical discussions and architectural decision-making.
- Maintain code quality through engineering best practices, testing, and code reviews.
- Mentor teammates and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Requirements
- Senior-level backend development experience with Java 21 or Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, ClickHouse, or similar databases.
- Practical experience with the Spring ecosystem and REST or gRPC technologies.
- Strong understanding of scalable, fault-tolerant microservice architectures and their trade-offs.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
