Senior/Tech Lead Java/Kotlin Developer

Location: Fully remote or from a modern office; relocation opportunities are available to countries where the company has offices after the probation period, subject to approval.

What you will do

• Own the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and architecture definition through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Take features from initial idea to production.
• Participate in technical discussions and architectural decision-making.
• Apply engineering best practices, contribute to code reviews, and maintain high code quality.
• Mentor teammates, share technical expertise, and help build a strong engineering culture.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 21 or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or similar.
• Experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, ClickHouse, and others.
• Experience with the Spring ecosystem, including Boot, Security, Web, Data, and Cloud.
• Experience with RPC technologies including REST and gRPC.
• Solid understanding of scalable, fault-tolerant microservice architectures and their trade-offs.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
