Senior Manual QA Analyst – Bilingual French & English

Location: Porto, Portugal, with a hybrid work model of up to 3 remote days per week.

What you will do

• Design, document, and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios from functional and technical specifications.
• Perform functional and linguistic validation of French user interfaces, including proofreading and content checks.
• Conduct functional, exploratory, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing across web and mobile applications.
• Identify, analyze, document, and track defects in Jira while collaborating with developers on resolution.
• Estimate testing effort and participate in Agile sprint planning.
• Champion quality and compliance, improve testing processes, and mentor junior QA members.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in manual QA for complex web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience with Jira and test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
• Fluent English and native or bilingual French at C2 level or equivalent are required.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for database queries.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• ISTQB or other software testing certification.
• Experience with UX testing and detailed content validation.
• Exposure to financial services or leasing applications.
• Certifications related to Agile methodologies.
