What you will do

• Design highly available and fault-tolerant architectures for business applications, technology initiatives, and consumer-facing systems.
• Lead architects and establish architecture standards, design principles, and best practices across the organization.
• Build and maintain Python and FastAPI microservices on serverless cloud infrastructure.
• Develop guardrails and deterministic functions for AI agents that edit visual assets, integrating owned-infrastructure models and third-party AI endpoints.
• Implement distributed job orchestration and dispatching workflows using services such as EventBridge, queues, and DynamoDB Streams.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams, contribute to frontend and backend orchestration, and ensure stable deployments through unit and end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong SDLC and version-control knowledge.
• Advanced Python skills and hands-on experience deploying and operating services in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs into applications, including inference endpoints, context-window management, and parsing AI-generated content.
• Applied experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, plus familiarity with continuous integration and Agile development.
• Expert knowledge of digital and broadcast production operations, media management, and content distribution workflows.
• Strong experience with the C4 model, traditional architecture artifacts, clean code, testing, and rigorous code reviews; a BS in CS, EE, or equivalent experience is required.
