Cyber Information Technologies Requirements Manager (Cybersecurity): Managing and validating customer IT requirements for cybersecurity, systems integration, and engineering operations with an accent on requirements traceability, technical feasibility, and lifecycle delivery. Focus on translating unstructured customer needs into actionable requirements, coordinating cross-agency stakeholders, and validating delivery across complex cyber and IT capabilities.

Location: Onsite in Arlington, Virginia, United States. U.S. citizenship, an active DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty suitability are required.

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year

What you will do

  • Generate, prioritize, analyze, and validate detailed customer IT requirements with stakeholders.
  • Convert unstructured ideas and needs from meetings, messages, calls, and documentation into comprehensive written requirements and definitions of done.
  • Lead requirements facilitation sessions and conduct technical feasibility and resource analyses.
  • Coordinate with engineering, threat hunting, network, and government stakeholders to route new and existing requirements through appropriate processes.
  • Trace requirements to work items, support user acceptance testing, document feedback, and validate completion.
  • Track requirements and delivery status in Jira and Confluence while providing routine updates to project teams and federal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty suitability required.
  • 8+ years of direct experience in cyber systems engineering, or a high school diploma with 10 years of network investigations experience.
  • Knowledge of systems and network engineering, technical analytics, threat hunting, incident response tools, cloud technologies, databases, and cybersecurity architectures.
  • Experience with systems engineering lifecycle, requirements management, traceability, change management, Agile or SAFe, and DevSecOps or DevOps.
  • Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related field, unless qualifying through the alternative education and experience path.

Nice to have

  • Experience with architectural views and standards such as DoDAF or FEAF.
  • Experience with DOORS, RMF, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-53, DHS programs, or lifecycle frameworks such as ITIL, ISO, and CMMI.
  • DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II, CSEP, or SAFe certification.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
