Renewable Energy Infrastructure Development Lead (Data Centers)

Location: Remote within Europe, with listed locations in Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Frankfurt, Stockholm, and Madrid. Willingness to travel across Europe is required.

What you will do

• Own data centre development across Europe from market entry and early-stage opportunities through Ready-to-Build and energisation.
• Evaluate and prioritise European markets based on power, grid, land, fibre, climate, permitting, and incentive factors.
• Assess sites from technical, planning, power, and infrastructure perspectives.
• Develop grid connection and power strategies with TSOs, DSOs, utilities, and regulators.
• Structure development financing and work with investors and lenders on project finance.
• Lead permitting, environmental assessment, stakeholder engagement, and development risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Experience developing European data centres or large-scale infrastructure projects from early-stage development through design, permitting, and delivery readiness.
• Deep knowledge of European data centre markets, grid capacity, power markets, permitting dynamics, and infrastructure delivery constraints.
• Strong understanding of European planning and grid connection processes, including work with TSOs, DSOs, and national regulators.
• Technical knowledge of data centre power, cooling, and utility systems, with the ability to evaluate engineering decisions.
• Understanding of infrastructure development finance, project finance structures, and investor requirements.
• Analytical, self-directed, comfortable with significant ownership, and willing to travel across Europe.
