QA Engineer (Java)

Location: Hybrid work in Belgrade, Serbia

What you will do

• Execute manual, functional, regression, and automated test cases.
• Maintain test documentation, plans, and defect-tracking workflows.
• Develop and support testing tools and automated test suites.
• Collaborate with R&D teams and architects to deliver reliable products and follow architectural best practices.
• Benchmark products against competing solutions and use findings to improve quality.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in QA processes, software lifecycle activities, test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Russian.
• Experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Selenide, TestNG or JUnit, and Maven or Gradle for automated testing.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, QA tools, testing methodologies, and the software development life cycle.
• Programming skills and the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, IT, natural sciences, or engineering.

Nice to have

• Linux, Jenkins, Git, or stress and performance testing experience.
• Software testing certifications.
