QA Engineer (Java)

Location: Belgrade, Bulevar Vojvode Mišića 15a. Hybrid work is available after successfully passing the probation period.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain QA processes, procedures, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios across the software development lifecycle.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and automated testing to support product quality and release readiness.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test suites using Java, Selenium, and modern testing frameworks.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with Development, Product, and DevSecOps teams on resolution.
• Manage test cases, defects, progress reporting, and QA documentation using JIRA and Xray.
• Improve automation coverage, testing efficiency, compliance, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and behavior-driven development approaches; Serenity BDD is preferred.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Xray for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Professional working level of English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Basic knowledge of performance or security testing.
