Oncology Informatics Specialist (Physician Reviewer)

Location: Remote from Colombia, with listed locations in Bogotá and Medellín.

What you will do

• Review and validate AI-abstracted diagnoses, disease stages, biomarkers, treatment histories, laboratory results, and imaging findings against source medical records.
• Assess patient eligibility against clinical trial inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Act as a clinical quality assurance checkpoint in the human-in-the-loop review process, identifying abstraction errors and edge cases.
• Apply oncology and hematology expertise to evaluate treatment sequencing, comorbidities, staging, and biomarker requirements.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations on referral-to-enrollment workflows and document clinical findings clearly.
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to improve AI-driven clinical matching workflows and scalability.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Working knowledge of and genuine interest in oncology and/or hematology.
• Ability to interpret EHR data, pathology and imaging reports, laboratory results, and treatment histories.
• Strong clinical reasoning and attention to detail when working with complex or incomplete information.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting clinical reasoning and communicating with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Interest in applying AI and machine learning to healthcare and working at the intersection of clinical judgment, data, and technology.

• Exposure to pharma-sponsored clinical trials.
• Experience evaluating clinical trial inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Experience supporting clinical trial recruitment or patient screening.
• Familiarity with clinical data management or clinical research workflows.
• Interest in Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, or Clinical Data Management.
