Engineering Manager (Frontend)

Location: Hybrid work from modern offices in Kaunas and Vilnius, with the flexibility to work from home or anywhere in the world.

Salary: Gross salary starting from €7,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end engineering process for landing pages and content platforms, from architecture and design through deployment and continuous operation.
• Lead, hire, mentor, and develop a team of frontend-focused developers through regular feedback, growth planning, and performance management.
• Drive predictable delivery through planning, estimation, roadmap participation, CI/CD, preview environments, and backlog management.
• Improve web performance and technical SEO through Core Web Vitals optimization, edge caching, SSR, hreflang, code splitting, and lazy hydration.
• Partner with Product and Marketing on A/B testing, analytics, and conversion-rate optimization initiatives.
• Maintain product reliability through observability, code reviews, testing practices, and hands-on development while advancing AI-assisted engineering and LLM-powered features.

Requirements

• Leadership experience as a team lead or manager, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Experience improving team delivery, throughput, predictability, or time to ship.
• Experience with high-traffic, multi-locale consumer web products such as landing pages, website builders, e-commerce, or content platforms.
• Extensive JavaScript and TypeScript experience with strong knowledge of a modern frontend framework; Vue and Nuxt with SSR are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, state management, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Git, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on use of AI and agentic engineering tools, strong communication skills, and a business-impact mindset focused on conversion, revenue, and user outcomes.

Nice to have

• Backend or full-stack experience with Node or NestJS.
• Infrastructure experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, GCP, AWS, or Cloudflare.
• Experience building LLM-powered product features.
