Medical Writer, Scientific Intelligence (AI)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop publications, including abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts, as well as advisory board materials, scientific platforms, gap analyses, literature summaries, slide sets, and training content.
• Produce grammatically accurate, audience-appropriate materials while maintaining scientific rigor and compliance standards.
• Use AI-enabled writing and research tools to improve deliverable quality and turnaround times, and contribute scientific expertise to the refinement of hirify.global’s LLM.
• Understand treatment landscapes and client product positioning to create strategically aligned materials.
• Assess project needs, solve delivery challenges, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with Scientific & Strategic Services, Client Services, Editorial, and Creative teams, participating in client meetings when needed.

Requirements

• PhD in life sciences, MD, or PharmD.
• At least 1 year of experience in an agency, pharmaceutical company, or related scientific or medical writing role.
• Working knowledge of digital marketing and proficiency with AI-enabled writing and research tools.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex information, collaborate effectively, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be based in the United States and able to travel domestically and internationally as required, with travel expected to remain below 20%.

Nice to have

• Medical writing experience in oncology, including solid tumors or hematologic malignancies.
• Familiarity with EndNote or other reference management software and publication databases.
• Proficiency with PubMed or other scientific and medical search platforms.
• Experience with MS Office, Adobe, Google Calendar, and Zoom or similar tools.
