Machine Learning Engineer (Python)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance data science and machine learning solutions.
• Convert data science prototypes and Proofs of Concept into production-quality systems.
• Implement large-scale machine learning solutions in on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Design production architectures, optimize system performance, and maintain code quality.
• Develop methods, tools, and engineering best practices for data science.
• Share machine learning engineering expertise through internal knowledge exchange, conferences, and workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Expert-level Python skills and experience with the Python statistical ecosystem.
• Experience writing production-quality code, using quality metrics, and collaborating with software and testing engineers.
• Strong statistical knowledge in at least one area: survey statistics, econometric modeling, observational causal inference, or experimental design.
• Experience working with Docker and communication skills in an English-speaking business environment.
