What you will do

• Develop the OpenFin Platform across frontend and backend components using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Lit.
• Build a unified desktop experience that enables interoperability between internal web applications through OpenFin and FDC3 standards.
• Write maintainable, high-quality code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues across the platform.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders on long-term product strategy, user experience, and time-to-market improvements.
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer or Fullstack Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Node, frontend frameworks such as Lit, Angular, React, or Vue, and testing tools such as Karma, Cucumber, WebdriverIO, or Chai.
• Experience with build tools, package managers such as NPM, and Git-based version control.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Web Components and strong Node experience.
• Understanding of browser Web APIs, especially WebSockets, Web Workers, and Web Storage APIs.
