APAC Tax Lead (Crypto)

Location: Remote within the APAC region

What you will do

• Act as the primary contact for regional tax matters across the APAC region.
• Manage tax compliance in collaboration with local teams and external tax firms.
• Provide tax advice on business operations, commercial transactions, contractual structures, and new products or services.
• Identify and implement regional tax opportunities and optimization strategies in alignment with the global tax team.
• Manage relationships, queries, audits, disputes, and litigation involving local tax authorities.
• Monitor tax legislation and oversee ad hoc tax projects, including crypto-related developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Economics, or Taxation.
• At least 12 years of professional experience, preferably in a Big Four firm or in-house tax function.
• Demonstrated experience as a tax leader in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on operations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Hands-on approach, flexibility, proactive mindset, and strong team collaboration skills.
