Copywriter (Automotive Retail)

Location: Detroit, Michigan, United States; hybrid work with teams in the office an average of four days per week.

Salary: $45,000–$90,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop conceptual copy and ideas for automotive retail campaigns.
• Iterate quickly and pivot creative direction in response to deadlines, market conditions, and current events.
• Manage multiple assignments with overlapping deadlines and distinct requirements.
• Refine work through reviews with agency teams, creative leadership, and clients.
• Clearly explain and present the rationale, execution, and value of creative concepts.
• Collaborate with art directors, managers, creative directors, agency colleagues, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; an English or writing emphasis is preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual copywriting skills.
• Three or more years of experience in an agency setting.
• Strong creative writing skills and expertise in the digital landscape.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Business acumen, teamwork, information hierarchy skills, and the ability to work independently under creative direction.
