SEO Specialist (Technical SEO): Driving organic traffic and improving the search performance and technical health of high-impact websites with an accent on technical audits, keyword strategy, content optimization, and link building. Location: Remote from South Africa or Kenya; working hours aligned with U.S. business hours.

is recruiting an SEO specialist for a client seeking hands-on organic growth expertise.
What you will do
- Conduct keyword research, map search intent, identify content gaps, and build SEO-driven content strategies.
- Optimize metadata, heading structures, internal links, URLs, images, schema markup, and existing content.
- Audit and improve crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonicalization, sitemaps, robots.txt, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance.
- Develop ethical link-building initiatives and monitor backlink quality, cleanup, and disavowal opportunities.
- Track rankings, traffic, impressions, conversions, and technical KPIs using analytics and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with writers, developers, and marketing teams on redesigns, migrations, launches, landing pages, and content initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional SEO experience.
- Hands-on experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, keyword research, search intent, and link building.
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong English communication skills and availability during U.S. business hours.
Nice to have
- Experience ranking competitive keywords and conducting advanced technical SEO audits.
- Knowledge of schema markup, structured data, and basic HTML/CSS.
- International or multilingual SEO experience.
- Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or content-driven businesses.
- Experience with Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar dashboarding tools.
