Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Partner with product and platform engineering to identify, prioritise, and remediate security risks.
• Implement security improvements across Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, GitHub, and WAF technologies.
• Deliver security roadmap initiatives and monitor security KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Support penetration testing, vulnerability management, security audits, and remediation activities.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines through automation and developer-friendly tooling.
• Coach engineering teams on secure coding, threat modelling, and security assessments.

Requirements

• Experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, platform engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of modern application and cloud security principles.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of secure software development, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Experience identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Advanced Security, vulnerability management platforms, WAFs, or similar security tooling.
