Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be located in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $180,000–$215,000 annual base compensation in the United States

What you will do

• Own and expand expertise across the native iOS codebase.
• Design and implement large, complex iOS initiatives while coordinating with other teams to maintain feature parity across clients.
• Lead architectural discussions, communicate trade-offs, and establish standards for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Investigate complex bugs, manage technical debt and risks, and provide comprehensive code reviews.
• Mentor engineers, support career development, and contribute to hiring through technical interviews and assessments.
• Occasionally fix bugs or shepherd pull requests from the user community.

Requirements

• Expertise developing complex iOS applications with Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong understanding of iOS UI/UX design and architecture principles, including architectural trade-offs.
• Experience with unit, UI, and snapshot testing, as well as iOS Extensions and TestFlight.
• Experience with Claude Code or a similar generative AI coding platform.
• Ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements and collaborate with Product, Design, and QA.
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and communicating complex concepts clearly.
