Full Stack Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Prague office, Czechia

Salary: 1,200,000–1,683,000 CZK annual full-time equivalent base salary

What you will do

• Develop and deliver software used by traders to execute trades, manage positions, and respond to market opportunities.
• Build and support distributed systems using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Design scalable, maintainable, secure, and performance-optimized software solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and integrate solutions with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, unit testing, and technology communities.
• Manage technology risks and strengthen controls through secure coding and governance practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Ability to work from the Prague office in Czechia.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Angular or another modern frontend framework such as React or Vue.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
