Full Stack Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Prague office, Czech Republic

Salary: 1,200,000–1,683,000 CZK annual base salary, plus benefits and eligibility for an incentive award.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and improve high-quality software supporting trade execution, position management, and market opportunity response.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized backend and frontend applications.
• Develop microservices and distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and integrate solutions with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, unit testing, and secure software development.
• Contribute to technology communities, risk management, controls, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot development.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering practices, including testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Availability to work from the Prague office.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate complex information, and take ownership of risk and controls.
• Strong technical judgment and experience delivering reliable, secure software solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular or another modern frontend framework such as React or Vue.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka.
