What you will do

• Design, build, and operate data extraction, transformation, and loading infrastructure using SQL, AWS, and big data technologies.
• Build and optimize complex data lakes, pipelines, databases, and data architectures for customer systems.
• Process diverse data sources, including near-real-time IoT events and unstructured images, audio, video, and documents.
• Build and deploy machine learning models with Jupyter Notebooks and AWS AI/ML services.
• Optimize cloud database security, performance, operations, and migration processes.
• Collaborate with solutions architects, project managers, data scientists, and customer-facing stakeholders on data infrastructure needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Experience with Python and other functional or scripting languages such as Java or Scala.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, RDS, EMR, Redshift, and AWS AI/ML services.
• Experience with big data tools, SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipelines, stream processing, and scalable data stores.
• Experience developing classification, scoring, deep learning, convolutional, and NLP models, including work with unstructured datasets.

Nice to have

• AWS Machine Learning Specialty certification.
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
