Senior Staff Software Engineer (Trading Service, Retail Trading)

Location: Onsite in Singapore; applicants must have the current right to work in Singapore and must not require visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for market analysis and retail trading.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability through sound engineering practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.
• Share knowledge, document technical solutions, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend development experience in internet-scale environments.
• Strong Java skills, computer science fundamentals, system design, and clean code practices.
• Experience designing and leading complex consumer-facing systems and growth or operations platforms.
• Experience with MySQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, network models, and JVM memory architecture.
• Current right to work in Singapore; visa sponsorship is not available.
