Software Engineer II, Model Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Architect, design, build, deploy, and maintain model-serving infrastructure for the Detection Engine.
• Scale model-serving and data-processing services to support 10x current traffic.
• Build and operate real-time and near-real-time streaming pipelines.
• Develop online feature-serving services for detection models.
• Collaborate with ML Engineering and Data Science teams to turn feedback into technical strategy and delivered solutions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role, including hands-on work with data-focused solutions.
• Experience using AI tools throughout software discovery, design, implementation, and rollout.
• Experience maintaining large-scale distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with real-time or near-real-time data pipelines and streaming services.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related engineering field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Python/Django, Golang, and Postgres.
• Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• Knowledge of web security and the OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
