Salary: $127,000–$140,000 annual base salary

What you will do
- Support the Head of Climate Risk in executing strategic priorities and expanding the Climate Risk program.
- Prepare regulatory submissions, examination materials, risk committee content, and external disclosures.
- Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to internal working groups and industry forums.
- Integrate climate considerations into first- and second-line risk processes and maintain internal risk frameworks.
- Contribute to the Risk Appetite Statement framework, including limits calibration and utilization monitoring.
- Partner with quantitative teams to use climate risk models and scenarios in assessing portfolio risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
- At least three years of experience in the role or a related position, including strategic discussions with senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
- At least one year of experience in financial services or banking focused on climate and sustainability initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of financial and non-financial risk disciplines and their intersection with climate-related risks.
- Experience assessing loans, derivatives, structured finance instruments, transition and physical risk exposures, and climate-related regulatory requirements.
- Experience with sustainability reporting, disclosure benchmarking, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and analytical tools such as R or Excel.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of carbon-intensive sectors such as energy, power, and automotive manufacturing.
- Experience developing decarbonization pathways and evaluating climate-related risks across diverse portfolios.
