What you will do

• Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments across financial, operational, compliance, market, and cybersecurity domains.
• Build and maintain quantitative risk models using SQL, Python, R, or SAS for stress testing, scenario analysis, and VaR modeling.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, and support internal and external audits.
• Evaluate internal controls and monitor risk events through GRC platforms like Archer or ServiceNow.
• Develop executive dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to communicate risk trends and insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and Executive leadership to embed risk awareness into business processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Risk Management, Enterprise Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Governance.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and quantitative data analysis.
• Experience using GRC platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow, or LogicManager.
• Deep understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• English: C1 level (excellent written and verbal communication) required.
• Location: Must be based in South Africa or Kenya.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, CPA, or CCEP.
• Experience with Monte Carlo simulations and stress testing.
• Background in Financial Services, Healthcare, or SaaS.
• Experience supporting board reporting or executive governance committees.
