What you will do

• Build reports, dashboards, agentic workflows, and data insights that help fleet managers make strategic decisions.
• Develop prediction, recommendation, and guided-action capabilities across hirify.global’s data products.
• Collaborate with the Data Team to surface analytics and AI-powered features in customer workflows.
• Design and implement reporting, advanced analytics, and agentic modules.
• Research prototypes, validate technical feasibility, and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Write, test, review, and maintain performant, scalable code while collaborating with product, design, and engineering partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 3+ years of experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience working with large datasets, reports, analytics, and metrics.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, CTEs, and ActiveRecord/Arel queries.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, data modeling, and query performance optimization.
• Strong architecture, unit testing, written communication, and code review skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or Sigma.
• Experience with dbt or other analytics transformation tooling.
• Experience leading small teams, projects, or analytics infrastructure strategy.
• Knowledge of the fleet management industry.
