Software Development Engineer (Front-end) - Ho Chi Minh City

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

What you will do

• Build clean, reusable front-end components for intuitive and polished browser extension experiences.
• Develop, test, maintain, and improve browser extensions with responsive performance, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and security compliance.
• Integrate third-party services, SDKs, backend APIs, and AI-related APIs into reliable front-end workflows.
• Partner with engineering teams in Vietnam, product teams in the U.S., and backend and AI engineers to refine requirements, API contracts, edge cases, and technical plans.
• Own features end to end from design through deployment, including effort estimation, code reviews, and continuous improvements to code quality and user experience.
• Use user feedback and data to recommend UX and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in front-end software engineering.
• Experience with at least one modern UI framework.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and modern front-end architecture and system design principles.
• Experience with Git, unit, integration, automation, and regression testing.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Vietnamese communication skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate across distributed teams and time zones, manage multiple priorities, and apply structured problem-solving to browser extension performance.
