Senior Android Developer

Location: Hybrid work in Limassol, Cyprus, with one remote day per week. Official employment in Cyprus; work permit visa support is available for employees and residence permits for spouses.

What you will do

• Improve and support the Android live-streaming application.
• Implement new product features in Java and Kotlin.
• Build custom UI elements, complex interfaces, and animations.
• Profile code, identify performance bottlenecks, and fix memory leaks.
• Maintain implementation quality and readable unit tests.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience creating custom UI elements, complex UI, and animations.
• Experience with Dagger2 and writing readable unit tests.
• Ability to work independently and use code profiling tools.
• English at least at pre-intermediate level required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reactive programming and functional programming.
• Experience with UI testing.
• Experience writing Jetpack Compose UI.
