What you will do

• Architect and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, Express.js, and FastAPI.
• Design and optimize RDBMS and NoSQL database schemas for efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Deploy and manage API infrastructure using Azure and AWS cloud services.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and manage container orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot) to accelerate delivery while maintaining full ownership of code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and QA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on API development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and frameworks like Express.js or FastAPI.
• Extensive knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Must be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

• Experience with data and machine learning pipelines.
