What you will do

• Develop and maintain production-grade backend services using Python as the primary language.
• Implement and integrate REST APIs for internal and external consumers, including AI inference services.
• Design and manage data processing flows (batch, streaming, or near real-time) using AWS cloud services.
• Contribute to features in the Flutter mobile application approximately 20% of the time.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability practices to support production systems.
• Collaborate with mobile, DevOps, and Product teams within an agile framework to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Backend Engineer with solid hands-on expertise in Python.
• Must be based in Romania.
• Practical experience with Flutter and mobile app development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and versioning.
• Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and deliver higher-quality outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or asynchronous processing.
• Experience integrating with AI inference services or machine learning APIs.
• Experience publishing or maintaining mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, containerization, or orchestration tools.
• Basic understanding of or exposure to Go.
