Delivery Director - Supply Chain Consulting (IT Programs)

Location: Hybrid, based near an office in Calgary, Houston, Boston, or New York; expected in the office 2–3 days per week when not onsite with clients. Travel required 60–80% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent client engagements and own the quality of project solutions, analyses, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Manage relationships across client C-suite, supply chain, project management, engineering, and business development teams.
• Lead sourcing and vendor selection for IT and digital programs, including ERP, GIS, customer information systems, DERMS, and network modernization.
• Support system integrator and software agreement negotiations, vendor governance, and ongoing vendor management or PMO services.
• Maintain work plans, manage project risks and escalations, monitor revenue and profitability, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coach and develop consulting staff, support recruiting and performance development, and identify qualified expansion opportunities on active accounts.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in consulting, supply chain, operations, or engineering.
• Proven project management and project execution experience, including management of concurrent projects and client engagements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, time-management, managerial, risk-management, and escalation-management skills.
• Experience coaching junior professionals and leading cohesive, dynamic teams.
• Comfort owning engagement-level commercial outcomes, including project margin and realization.
• Bachelor’s degree required; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Power & Renewables or Oil & Gas sectors.
• PMP certification.
• Experience supporting large IT or digital programs from the owner or advisor side.
• Familiarity with IT category sourcing, licensing and subscription models, system integrators, software vendor selection, and vendor performance governance.
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
