Principal Software Engineer, Services/DevOps - Wild Rift (Game Development)

What you will do

• Define the engineering strategy, technical vision, and roadmap for global game services and infrastructure.
• Lead the long-term evolution and sustainable ownership of game services, infrastructure, and live operations.
• Direct technical design reviews, architectural discussions, decision-making, planning, discovery, and estimation.
• Manage and scale multiple engineering disciplines while improving team health and effectiveness.
• Partner with product, delivery, leadership, and central technology teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Hire, mentor, and support engineers through performance and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in game development, infrastructure/SRE, or software engineering teams.
• 4+ years as a technical lead guiding game services, infrastructure, DevOps, and live operations.
• Experience translating long-term technical vision into successfully executed roadmaps and adapting priorities when needed.
• Experience leading technical design reviews and code reviews across organizations.
• Mandarin fluency is required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in co-development environments.
• Experience with game clients, surrounding game systems, infrastructure, privacy and security, trust and safety, and live-service games.
