Senior QC Engineer (Data)

Location: Poland; work format: remote or office

What you will do

• Perform data migration testing, source-to-target reconciliation, and ETL validation.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and transformations across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases using Python and QMetry or similar tools.
• Test ETL pipelines and data workflows in Databricks environments.
• Investigate and document data quality issues and collaborate with data engineers on resolutions.
• Maintain test documentation, execution results, and defect reports while participating in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software testing experience, preferably in data engineering, ETL, or data migration projects.
• Strong SQL, data validation, source-to-target reconciliation, and ETL testing experience.
• Python experience for test automation and familiarity with QMetry or similar test management tools.
• Understanding of Databricks, Delta Lake, and layered data architectures.
• Experience validating Power BI or other BI reporting solutions and familiarity with cloud data platforms, preferably AWS.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in Agile cross-functional teams.
