What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-load Python microservices for real-time data ingestion and processing.
• Consume, route, and reliably deliver event streams using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Design and optimize REST, GraphQL, and internal RPC components within the microservice architecture.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, reliability gaps, technical debt, and process inefficiencies.
• Write functional and integration tests and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and collaborate with QA, analysts, product managers, and Scala teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python engineering experience, including 3+ years with asyncio and asynchronous programming.
• Strong knowledge of event loops, deadlock prevention, blocking operations, high-concurrency patterns, and multithreading.
• Experience building and scaling high-load microservices in production.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, FastAPI or Sanic, Pydantic v2, and MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, Unix/Linux environments, architectural principles, and internal libraries or SDKs.
• Strong ownership, proactive problem-solving, transparent communication, and a focus on production reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience in iGaming, betting, trading, or FinTech.
• Experience integrating third-party data providers.
• Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Familiarity with Scala for cross-stack collaboration.
