Lead Cloud Engineer (Azure)

Location: Porto. Candidates must be based in Portugal or Serbia; visa-based relocation is not offered.

What you will do

• Establish and continuously evolve the enterprise cloud platform capability.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure Landing Zones, governance frameworks, security guardrails, and platform standards.
• Build secure cloud networking, identity integration, connectivity, monitoring, and operational capabilities.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration, and operational processes with Infrastructure as Code and modern cloud engineering practices.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across enterprise cloud initiatives.
• Define cloud strategy, operating models, service portfolios, technical roadmaps, documentation, and reference architectures.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Several years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise cloud platforms, with strong Microsoft Azure expertise.
• Experience with enterprise cloud architecture, governance, security, networking, identity, automation, and platform services.
• Practical experience with Azure Landing Zones or comparable enterprise cloud foundations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Based in Portugal or Serbia; visa-based relocation is not offered. Confident English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms with on-premises infrastructure, networking, and identity services.
