Production Manager (Live Events)

Location: Munich, Germany, with regular time in the Ismaning office, hybrid work, and travel to football matches.

What you will do

• Lead on-site delivery of Bundesliga and domestic live productions, including crew setup, technical checks, rehearsals, and live broadcast execution.
• Coordinate freelance production crews, including briefings, role assignments, and on-site performance.
• Manage relationships with venue operations teams, stadium management, federation representatives, DFL contacts, and other external partners.
• Support Champions League and international productions led by the Senior Production Manager.
• Maintain broadcast quality across camera coverage, audio, graphics, connectivity, and overall production standards.
• Resolve on-site production issues, ensure health and safety compliance, and provide post-event reports covering quality, crew performance, logistics, and budget variances.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in live sports broadcast production, including on-site production management or a similar delivery-focused role.
• Experience with live sports productions at major venues and with coordinating freelance production crews.
• Knowledge of venue operations, federation requirements, and Bundesliga or DFL production environments.
• Working knowledge of cameras, audio, replay, graphics, connectivity, OB unit operations, and remote production workflows.
• Fluent German is essential, with strong English required for team and stakeholder communication.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and health and safety skills, with flexibility for travel and irregular hours.
