What you will do

  • Provide structural engineering design oversight for multiple railway projects across the Kingdom.
  • Review consultant deliverables for stations, viaducts, bridges, and depots for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, architectural, MEP) to optimize integrated design solutions.
  • Identify design risks and technical gaps, supporting the resolution of complex structural issues.
  • Participate in design reviews, workshops, and value engineering exercises.
  • Prepare technical comments, review reports, and engineering memoranda on behalf of the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design and review.
  • Mandatory extensive experience in railway and/or metro projects.
  • Required experience working in the Gulf region and/or Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong understanding of structural design standards and technical review processes.
  • Ability to assess technical proposals and manage multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional registration, chartership, or equivalent accreditation.
  • Experience supporting major government transport entities.
  • Familiarity with authority approvals and infrastructure delivery processes in Saudi Arabia.
