What you will do

• Design, scale, and maintain secure, resilient systems across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
• Drive an "Everything as Code" culture using Terraform, OpenTofu, or Ansible with automated GitOps workflows.
• Standardize and optimize modern CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable, and rapid code deployments.
• Implement automated chaos engineering frameworks and disaster recovery simulations to identify system weaknesses.
• Architect and mature the telemetry stack using Grafana Cloud, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design and incident reviews, and partner with leadership to define the long-term SRE strategy.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, with at least 2 years at a Senior or Staff level.
• Proven track record of managing automation and infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster administration, networking, and security primitives.
• Proficiency in at least one systems language (e.g., Go, Java, or C#) to build automation and internal APIs.
• Experience with release orchestration strategies such as Canary or Blue-Green models.
• Deep understanding of OpenTelemetry and monitoring/observability best practices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of UI automation testing and designing microservice-based applications.
• Experience managing test environments and working with virtual machines.
• Deep understanding of Linux and Windows internals.
• Experience with seamless workload migration between on-prem and cloud environments.
• Understanding of modern DevSecOps practices.
