What you will do

• Own firmware architecture and design for transport, wireless protocols, and software stacks from concept through production.
• Design and scale low-latency RF/wireless communication protocols for embedded systems.
• Develop communication protocols to enable peripheral functionality.
• Architect structured, modular, and reusable firmware frameworks that scale across multiple platforms.
• Lead and mentor internal and external firmware engineers to raise the organization's design-review bar.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues across hardware, firmware, and RF domains.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Expertise in RF/wireless systems (e.g., Bluetooth, low-latency audio).
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with ARM microcontrollers.
• Proven track record of leading firmware development for shipped consumer electronics.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and implementing automated testing.
• Must be based in the US (indicated by 401k and US-specific benefits) and able to work under a hybrid policy.

Nice to have

• Experience with wireless audio or ultra-low latency systems.
• Experience working with external development partners or ODMs.
• Experience with kernel or driver development (Linux, Windows).
