What you will do
- Manage fire protection scopes for hyperscale Data Center programs, federal, and industrial projects.
- Serve as the Engineer of Record for assigned projects, ensuring technical excellence and safety.
- Coordinate technical deliverables with multi-disciplined design teams and external stakeholders.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis using industry-standard software.
- Develop 3D fire protection designs utilizing Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to graduate-level engineering staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, engineering technology, or a similar ABET Accredited program.
- Registered Professional Engineering (FPE) license is required.
- 5+ years of experience in design, consulting, or construction.
- Proficiency in NFPA, Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs), and Building codes (IBC, SBC, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency with Revit and BIM workflows.
- Willingness to travel (<20%).
