Fire Protection Engineer (Data Centers)

Location: On-site in Nashville, Tennessee, USA; travel of less than 20% is required.

What you will do

• Manage fire protection scopes for hyperscale data center, mission-critical, federal, and industrial projects.
• Coordinate technical deliverables with multidisciplinary design staff.
• Serve as engineer of record on assigned projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis using available software.
• Produce 3D fire protection designs in Autodesk Revit and support BIM workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and fire protection design staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in design, consulting, or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering, engineering technology, or a similar ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in fire protection engineering is required.
• Experience applying NFPA, Unified Facilities Criteria, and building codes and standards such as IBC and SBC.
• Proficiency in fire protection design, Revit, and BIM workflows.
• Strong written and oral communication, planning, organization, and time-management skills.
