What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced solutions for state estimation, localization, and sensor calibration.
• Architect complex projects from conception to onboard implementation, emphasizing scalability, robustness, and safety-critical operation.
• Innovate in multi-sensor self-calibration in unstructured environments and fault tolerance strategies for real-time deployment.
• Provide technical mentorship and thought leadership to elevate engineering practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering groups to integrate localization and sensor alignment into autonomous vehicle systems.
• Influence technical roadmaps and shape strategic priorities aligned with product milestones.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8-10+ years of experience developing and deploying state estimation or sensor calibration systems for real-time onboard applications.
• Proven expertise in sensor calibration and localization operating on diverse sensor inputs within safety-critical systems.
• Strong software engineering proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Must be based in the US or be eligible for relocation to the US.
